The “Bennett” Reflex Procedure


•  Have patient lie on back, knees slightly bent


•  Find the umbilicus & visualize a circle 3-4”  in    diameter around umbilicus & divide in quarters


•  Insert fingers slowly & tenderly to palpate each    quarter


•  Have patient rate tenderness level on a 1-10    scale for each quadrant
